Hope in Perimenopause: There Is Light at the End

Perimenopause feels endless. But there is light at the end. You will get through.

It feels endless. You're in the thick of it and you can't imagine it ever ending. You can't imagine feeling okay. You can't imagine your body not working against you. You can't imagine having your life back. But it ends. It actually ends. There is light at the end of this tunnel.

Millions of women have gone through perimenopause. All of them got through it. All of them came out the other side. You will too. It doesn't feel that way right now. But it's true. This is temporary. Even though temporary is measured in years, it is actually temporary.

Hope is what keeps you going when things are hard. Hope that tomorrow is better. Hope that next week is easier. Hope that next year things improve. Hope that eventually this ends. Hold onto hope. It matters.

You will feel like yourself again. Your body will cooperate again. Your mind will be clear again. Your sleep will be good again. Your energy will return. It's not infinite time away. It's measurable time. It's years not decades. You can survive years.

The woman you become on the other side is worth the struggle. She's stronger. She's clearer about what matters. She's more authentic. She's less bothered by other people's opinions. She's more herself. That woman is worth becoming.

Perimenopause is hard. But it's not forever. There is an end. There is light at the end of this tunnel. You will get through. You will emerge. And you will be okay.
